I’m Emma Black, a senior graphic designer and art director with over 20 years’ experience at full-service agencies.

I’ve honed my skills across multiple sectors and offer conceptual thinking, campaign development, branding, print and digital design, copywriting and illustration.

I make the complex simple – captivating audiences with bold visuals, succinct messages and that crisp satisfaction of grasping and trusting a brand proposition. I stand out for my witty solutions and aim squarely for the oohs and aahs – ‘Ooh that’s clever!’ and ‘Aah I didn’t think of that!’.

I’m excited by projects of all shapes and sizes and am proud to have taken creative lead on major rebranding projects for retailers Robert Dyas and Just for Pets.

Happy to work alone or in a team, I am a cheerful and supportive creative partner who communicates well and completes projects on-brief and on time.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me wild camping, lino printing and making the world's second-best pizza.
